Isaiah Tsikayi
I'm a Computer Science student at Southern Adventist University. I just transfered from Clark College with a two year degree, and plan to also complete a Web Development emphasis while I'm here. Something notable about me is that I always love to try new things.
Below are my current interests:
Outdoor Recreation
From walking, to hiking, to kayaking, I enjoy spending time outside in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Everything from our coasts to our forests are majestic, as long as it’s not raining, that is. Summiting Mount St. Helens is near the top ofmy bucket list.
Sports & Martial Arts
For the past several years, I’ve participated on Cross Country and Taekwondo. I like the team culture and outdoor terrain of distance running, and the skills, both practical and flashy, I’ve gained from martial arts. Last year I was the co-captain of my school’s Cross Country team, and I earned my Black Belt in Taekwondo.
Drawing & Digital Art
While I've only taken Art 101 and Photoshop at Clark, I've spent my free time teaching myself vector graphics and traditional illustration. My favorite coursework has been my 'Dreamscape' From Photoshop, and a digital drawing 'Dragon of the Red Valley' I had featured in the Pheonix Art Gallery for Art 101. Using the skills I taught myself, I created my Cross Country team shirt, and draw illustrations from popular anime for myself and friends.
Computer Technology
Ever since I built my first PC in middle school, I’ve had an interest in the hardware and software of the various devices I interact with. I’ve assembled and repaired desktops and laptops, and since Covid have been tinkering with a Linux based home server for files, games, and media. For several years I ran the audio visual systems at my local church.
